Animation generated using my rubber-stamped artworks as tools. The process involves a bunch of softwares to render the artwork in three dimensions and create a slow fading. This series of works is an evolution of my research with rubber stamps, materials and inks and reflects my idea of mutability.
Mattia Cuttini is an Italian artist whose interdisciplinary practice is situated at the intersection of graphic design and blockchain technology. Cuttini pursued his education in technology, and later reinvented himself as an artist, using several mediums beyond visual including music and performance art.
Started in 1999 with design, in 2017 created a Kickstarter, and in 2018 beginned with CryptoArt, Cuttini has expanded his practice using artificial intelligence. Cuttini’s work aims to mold the artificial into the natural, and distort or transform the natural into the artificial.
Either visual or acoustic, his art practice usually results from a sequence of interventions that vary in complexity.
Cuttini’s work has been featured on SuperRare, Known Origin, Async, and Medium. He works and lives in Italy.
